ABOUT ME

I consider it an honour to be invited into the life and story of another person.

As a counsellor,  I am passionate about holding a safe and accepting space

for clients to explore their lives and their own unique story.

My hope is to bring my training, education and perspective as well as my experience

of being human, into the counselling relationship and experience.

A Bit About Me

My journey of becoming a clinical counsellor was somewhat non-linear, and I do not take it for granted that I have the opportunity to work in this field, at this time of my life. I am grateful for a journey that has taught me about resiliency, transitions and discovery. It has shown me that people carry a capacity to change. It has taught me that life can simultaneously hold uncertainty and hope, and that we are all navigating the complex yet ordinary parts of life.

My vocational and educational background of art, music, theology, and psychology informs how I see and understand the world. It intersects with my life as a friend, family member, mentor and learner. I love to spend time with the people in my life, enjoying the beauty of the west coast or gathering for conversation over a meal or drink.
